This editorial article was published for META MAG's Winter 2021 Editorial in which all articles embodied the issue's theme: Nostalgia. As the title indicates, this piece focused on the influences of Cold War politics and the Space Race on fashion in the 1960s. Highlighting the work of designers such as Pierre Cardin and Mary Quant, this article explores the similar abilities of nostalgia, politics, and fashion in escaping the bounds of time.

This editorial article was published for META MAG's Fall 2020 Editorial in which all articles embodied the issue's theme: Heaven, Hell & Purgatory. Using the iconic LBD as an example, this piece analyzes the dual role of globalization in creating heavenly and hellish realms with regard to fashion. While globalization led to the popularity of the LBD, the same interconnectedness allows for fast-fashion business models to thrive and exploit female workers.
